Speed humps on Twin Palm Road

Dear editor,
LUSAKA City Council has constructed three new speed humps on Twin Palm Road between Bauleni Turn Off and ZAF compound with no warning signs whatsoever of their presence.
One can imagine the consequences of this most negligent and dangerous state of affairs.
Already existing on this stretch of the road which is about 1.5km or so are eight speed humps on each end.
It is not built up, no schools etc. So why slow down traffic?
The money spent on the humps could have been used to permanently repair that portion of the road that they keep mending.
Or is there some other motivation in constructing these hideous contraptions all over the place without thinking about their necessity in a particular area?
You are also damaging our vehicles especially small ones which have to climb the humps.
CONCERNED MOTORIST
