A Chinese delegation led by State Councillor of the Chinese Government Wang Yong, a special envoy for Chinese President Xi Jimping, is expected in the country today on a two-day State visit.
According to a programme released to the Zambia Daily Mail, Mr Yong is expected to meet President Lungu in the afternoon at State House.
Mr Yong will later hold bilateral talks with Vice-President Inonge Wina.
He is on Wednesday expected to pay a courtesy call on first Republican President Dr Kenneth Kaunda at his residence.
The delegation will also visit China Non-Ferrous Metal Corporation (NFCA) on the Copperbelt on Thursday before returning to their base.
