ZILLIONAIRE Mobile Television (TV) Network (ZMTN), a South Africa-based firm, is expected to start its operations in Zambia next month, with initial investment of about K145 million (2 million rands).
The company is a streaming TV network and has already concluded the entire regulatory requirement with the relevant authorities.
ZMTN chief executive officer Vukile Manzi said once the company starts operations, it is expected to create over 200 jobs for the locals.
In an interview yesterday, Mr Manzi said the company has launched the ZMTN Revolt Decoder, which is a streaming TV decoder with over 300 free channels.
“The ZMTN Revolt Decoder does not have a monthly TV subscription. We are currently sitting on 856,521 users across 54 African countries.
“We will also open an opportunity for film production in Zambia to own their channels of the local content http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
