Simukoko appointment cheers labour movement


THE labour movement has urged newly-appointed Minister of Labour and Social Security Joyce Nonde-Simukoko to bring harmony to the industry and use her vast experience to address various challenges affecting the welfare of workers countrywide.
Zambia Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) president Nkole Chishimba said in an interview in Kitwe that the labour movement is happy with President Lungu’s decision to appoint a seasoned labour leader with wider understanding of industrial relations issues.
Mr Chishimba hoped Mrs Simukoko will bring harmony in the labour movement and advance the socio-economic welfare of workers from both public and private sectors.READ MORE
