She-polopolo Ivory Coast-bound

BRUCE Mwape.

ALEX NJOVU, Lusaka
THE national women’s team will camp in Ivory Coast ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations kicking off in Ghana on November 17.
The She-polopolo were scheduled to set up base in Nigeria but the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has settled for Ivory Coast after Bruce Mwape’s side were drawn in the same group with the Super Falcons.
Kenya and South Africa are the other teams in Group B while Algeria, Cameroon, Mali and hosts Ghana are in Group A.
FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed in Lusaka yesterday that the She-polopolo will camp in Ivory Coast.
“Tentatively, we have put 5th November as the date of their departure to Ivory Coast but it depends on logistics that we are working on,” Kashala said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
