STRIKER Noria Sosala’s first half strike was enough for the Zambia national women’s team to beat Egypt 1-0 in an international friendly at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
With Football Association of Zambia president Andrew Kamanga in the stands, Sosala netted the solitary goal in the 33rd minute after beating Egyptian defenders Sara Abdallah and Rana Adly and fired past goalkeeper Envy Ahnad.
The teams will meet tomorrow in another friendly at the same venue.
Egypt are preparing for the 2016 Cameroon Africa Women’s Championship kicking off on November 19.
