THE Ndola Magistrate’s Court has sentenced a 27-year-old man to five years imprisonment with hard labour for attempting to rape two elderly women on the same day.
When the matter came up yesterday, magistrate Changa Chitabo convicted Gift Chalwe of attempted rape and subsequently jailed him.
“Upon your own admission of guilt, I convict you accordingly and sentence you to five years imprisonment with hard labour,” he said.
On October 19 this year, Chalwe unlawfully attempted to have carnal knowledge of a woman without her consent.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
