Security teams dominate cross-country

ZAMBIA Correctional Service (ZCS) emerged overall national cross-country winners after clocking 27:23:44 minutes in the 8km relay in Kabwe on Saturday.
The event that was also used as a qualifier for the African cross-country championship set for March 6 in Togo saw Green Eagles take second spot with the time of 27:51:01 minutes while Green Buffaloes finished third after clocking 28:09:76 minutes.
Red Arrows wrapped up the defence force dominance as they clocked 28:49:09 to take the fourth position while Mazabuka and Kohima finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
The individual 10km race saw Arrows grab the first three positions that had Rodrick Mudenda emerging victorious after clocking 32:17:63 with Dean Mayobelo in second position with a time of 32:37:74 and Josphat Musonda third on 32:45:11.
