MINISTER of Livestock and Fisheries Michael Katambo has appealed to Zambians to take advantage of the interest shown by Saudi Arabia to import one million goats and sheep per year from Zambia.
Mr Katambo has appealed to those in the livestock industry to take up the challenge of exporting goats and sheep to Saudi Arabia.
“As Government, we are ready to provide all the necessary policy guidance and technical support as well as work in close partnership with all stakeholders in order to effectively implement the commercialisation of goats and sheep so as to meet the required quantities and quality of goats and sheep for the Saudi export market and beyond,” Mr Katambo said.READ MORE
