Sangwa urges Zambians to vote ‘yes’

THE six-day Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) public forum to sensitise citizens on the referendum came to an end on Thursday with lawyer John Sangwa appealing to Zambians to vote ‘yes’ in the August 11 general elections.
But Zambia Civic Education (ZCE) executive director Judith Mulenga urged the public to vote ‘no’ because there was no consensus over the holding of the referendum alongside the general elections.
To sensitise citizens on the referendum, LAZ organised the public forum which ended with panellists being subjected a debate with a motion: “This house supports the proposed changes to the Constitution in the referendum of August 11 general elections 2016.”READ MORE
