SADC lobbies for regional parliament

THE Southern African Development Community (SADC) Parliamentary Forum has called on President Edgar Lungu to convince fellow leaders to support its campaign for the establishment of a regional parliament.The SADC Parliamentary Forum is a regional body composed of over 3,500 Members of Parliament from SADC member states.
Forum president Fernando dos Santos was speaking when his delegation paid a courtesy call on President Lungu at State House yesterday to seek Zambia’s support for its campaign.
