Ruggers in All-Blacks hurdle

THE Zambia rugby sevens team, the country’s last flag carrier at the Commonwealth Games today have a chance to prove their prowess when they face world giants as they begin the campaign for a medal.
Drawn in Pool C against world champions New Zealand, the Andrew Kaminsa-tutored side have a potentially explosive first game against the All-Blacks at Robina Stadium.
New Zealand are the tournament’s favourites.
Zambia will face Canada in the second game and the last group match that will determine who proceeds to the quarter-finals, plate competition and exits the competition.
