Ruggers battle for inaugural Mabanga 7s crown

MULWANDA LUPIYA, Ndola

HISTORY will be made tomorrow when the inaugural Mabanga Sevens Rugby tournament takes centre stage in Solwezi.
The event is slated for Independence Stadium annex pitch. This will be the first time a rugby tournament will be hosted in Solwezi and North-Western Province at large. Promoted National Rugby League (NRL) side Kansanshi Dragons are North-Western Province envoys. Kansanshi were campaigning in the President’s League in the just-ended season and finished in the top two to clinch promotion to the NRL Top Eight alongside Green Buffaloes.
