THE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) will partner with the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) and the police during the festive season to ensure people violating traffic rules are brought to book.
RTSA public relations manager Fredrick Mubanga said in an interview that the agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DEC to allow the commission to test motorists for psychotropic drugs.
Mr Mubanga said some motorists have a habit of driving after taking psychotropic drugs, a habit that affects their mental state.
