PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says the national anthem should be held in high esteem because it promotes values for hard work, love and respect for one another in a unitary state.

He says the song is an important country value that should be held with honour because it unifies people.
The head of State has appealed to teachers across the country to inculcate singing of the national anthem in pupils and explain to them the value of the song.
