PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has urged all political parties in the country to commit to issue-based campaigns and renounce violence in the run-up to the August 11 general elections.
Mr Lungu appealed to all citizens to preserve the peace and freedom Zambia’s forefathers fought for.
He said this in Livingstone at Avani Victoria Falls Hotel on Saturday night in a speech read for him by Deputy Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Raymond Mpundu during the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) annual ball.
