Relatives differ over deceased’s property

THERE was drama at the Boma Local Court when a war of words erupted among three family members who could not agree on the choice of an administrator to the deceased’s estates.
Their disagreement started from inside the courtroom and continued after the court advised the parties to go outside to choose a neutral person.
It took court clerks to calm the situation after threatening to lock the trio up.
Earlier in court, Magistrate Lina Tembo revoked the order of appointment for the three of them, saying there was no fairness and sincerity in the administration of the estates.
This is in a matter in which Harriet Bwalya, 49, of Bauleni Township, sued her stepdaughter, Catherine Chilufya, 21, and John Chilufya, her late husband’s brother, for revocation of administratorship. CLICK TO READ MORE
