GOVERNMENT plans to widen the scope of the Bill of Rights to include economic, social and cultural rights during implementation of the Eighth National Development Plan (8NDP).
Minister of Justice Mulambo Haimbe says Government has continued to engage various stakeholders and cooperating partners to solicit support to hold a referendum.
Mr Haimbe said the referendum will lead to amendment of Part III of the Zambian Constitution to enhance the Bill of Rights.
