THE Road Development Agency (RDA) is doing a great job in ensuring that Zambia has a robust road infrastructure.
However, there are some little yet important things which both RDA and its sister agency, the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) tend to overlook in ensuring safety on our roads.
The RDA and RTSA ignore road markings which are critical features in as far as road safety is concerned because they guide motorists which lanes to take and the distances they have to observe.
One area of concern is the stretch from Kabangwe on Great North Road all the way to Fifteen Miles.
May the RDA treat this as an emergency and ensure that the road has marks.
It is risky to drive at night on certain stretches of this route.
