SECRETARY to the Treasury Fredson Yamba says up-scaling financial inclusion levels to 80 percent by 2022 will only be attainable if commercial banks provide affordable products and services.
Mr Yamba said as the country targets to increase financial inclusion from the current 59 percent to 80 percent in two years’ time, it will be cardinal to increase collaboration among stakeholders in addressing bottlenecks impeding access to financial products and services.
