REVELATIONS by Teaching Council of Zambia that more than 480 teachers have forged Grade 12 school certificates are very worrisome. This is an indication that such forgery issues are found in all sectors.
The government is the largest employer in any country and I would to urge the Secretary to cabinet through Public Service Management division to leave no stone unturned and ensure that all those found wanting face wrath of the law. Forgery of vital documents such as academia qualifications is a serious criminal offence.
Lastly, I would like to urge the Inspector General of Police to take an interest in the discovery of forged academia qualifications by teachers and prosecute the culprits. The Teaching Council of Zambia has evidence.
