PRIVATE sector players involved in agribusiness have been advised to engage Government on various issues affecting their operations to enable them to effectively contribute to economic development.
World Bank senior private sector specialist finance, competitiveness and innovation Ellen Olafsen said the private sector remains key in reducing poverty and creating jobs for the local people.
“The role of the private sector in economic growth and poverty reduction in Zambia is of decisive importance, and should be prioritised,” Ms Olafsen said.
