Private sector growth driver

LUSAKA City.

CAROLINE KALOMBE, Lusaka
UNITED Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DfID) says the private sector can play a leading role in driving development that ensures growth and benefits all Zambians.
DFID has called for the use of inclusive business models.
DFID Zambia head of inclusive growth and private sector development advisor Martin Alsop said the private sector is critical and valuable partner in supporting sustainable development.
He was speaking at a breakfast meeting organised by the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr Alsop said in Lusaka last Friday that significant progress can be achieved when companies integrate inclusive and sustainable models into their core business.
