PRISCILLA Katoba is the embodiment of women who have embraced soccer administration and sponsorship.
An officer in the Zambia Army, Katoba is not just the president of Green Buffaloes Women Football club (GBWFC), a position she has held for six years.
She also owns Queens Sports Academy in Kabwe. The academy comprises Ladies FC and Queens FC, a boys’ team.
Katoba established the sports academy in 2018.
The girls’ team play in the FAZ Central Province Women’s League where they have been champions since 2018.
This season, they are leading the table and have also reached the finals of the on-going FAZ provincial women’s cup
The boys’ team is playing under the Central Province Amateur Football Association (CEPAFA)
Katoba says her motivation for establishing the academy was founded on her passion to empower fellow women and girls.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
