Presidential poll ballots printed

THE printing of presidential ballot papers for the August 11, 2016 general elections has been completed at Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing Company in Dubai.
The company has now started printing of parliamentary ballot papers, which are the last batch in the on-going printing process for the forthcoming elections. Printing of these ballot is scheduled for completion on Tuesday.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) announced in Dubai yesterday that the printing of presidential ballot papers, which started three days ago and was at 60 percent on Thursday was completed yesterday.
ECZ senior public relations officer Sylvia Bwalya said the printing of local government elections ballot papers was at 54 percent as of yesterday.
Also completed is the printing of presidential posters, referendum posters and mayoral posters. Preparation of tactile folders, for blind voters, is at 50 percent.
