NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu wants independent think tanks to engage him and Government on national matters for Zambia to have a true narrative about the country’s economy and its management.
Speaking when an Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) delegation called on him at State House yesterday, President Lungu said there is need to find a well-structured arrangement through which all stakeholders can meet to address national issues.
“I’m impressed with the revolutionary approach you have taken to engage stakeholders,” he said.
Mr Lungu urged EAZ to continue being professional and criticise Government when it goes wrong and commend it when it does the right thing.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
