President launches K108m Sioma Bridge

JUBILATION yesterday characterised the official hand-over of the K108.2 million Sioma Bridge in Western Province with President Lungu (right) reiterating the Patriotic Front (PF) administration’s commitment to developing a good and reliable road network country-wide.
The President said this pragmatic commitment is contrary to assertions by some detractors bent on criticising Government.
He said the resolve to significantly improve roads is based on the PF administration’s position that roads are key to the development of various sectors of the economy.
He said Sioma Bridge was the missing link on the Sesheke-Senanga road, which was constructed two years ago.
