RESURGENT Power Dynamos yesterday dislodged inconsistent Zanaco from the summit of the Super Division after demolishing Konkola Blades in an exciting Week 26 match at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
Richard Kasonde, Alex NgÃ³nga and Jimmy Ndhlovu contributed a goal each to push Power to 53 points, one ahead of Zanaco and Zesco United.
Zanaco battled to a 2-2 draw with Nchanga Rangers in Chingola while Zesco United edged Napsa Stars 2-0 in Ndola.
Kasonde opened the floodgates in the 64th minute before NgÃ³nga extended the lead on 72 minutes after pouncing on a loose ball.
Three minutes later, Ndhlovu sealed victory for Power with a low shot after interchanging passes with Ngâ€™onga and Kennedy Mudenda.
RANGERS 2Â Â ZANACO 2
Zanacoâ€™s title ambition suffered a setback when they drew with Nchanga Rangers at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola, HONE SIAME reports.
Spencer Ngalande opened the scoring for Rangers in the sixth minute but Dominic Yobe restored parity four minutes later and Davy Daka added his on 29 minutes.
Ngalande headed in Aubrey Chamulwandaâ€™s cross to grab a brace and level matters for the Chingola outfit.
POLICE 3 NAKAMBALA 1
Konkola Mine Police got some respite when they thrashed Nakambala Leopards at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.
Emmanuel Phiri netted a brace with Chanda Mushili contributing the other goal and Nakambala got their consolation through Junior Zulu.
ZESCO 2 NAPSA 0
TWO first-half goals kept Zesco United in the hunt for the league title after edging Napsa Stars at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola, CHISHALA MUSONDA reports.
Winston Kalengo blasted home from close range to put Zesco in the lead and Cletus Chama doubled the advantage on 39 minutes.
On return, Zesco continued to push the visitors with John Chingâ€™andu and Lazarus Kambole blazing their shots wide in on 53 and 62 minutes, respectively.
Zesco have 52 points while Napsa are on 44 points.

At Indeni Sports Complex, Indeniâ€™s fight to remain in the Super Division is slowly losing grip after being held to a draw by Kabwe Warriors.
Francis Jere put Warriors ahead in the first half but Djunese Kanda rescued the home side from the spot-kick after the break.

Nkana came from behind to beat Green Buffaloes at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, ROBINSON KUNDA reports.
Buffaloes scored first through Victor Chimbuli in the 27th minute before Maybin Chishimba equalised in the 70th minute and Musonda added the second on 90 minutes to push Nkana to 46 points, 18 better than Buffaloes.
Nkana assistants Zeddy Saileti and Gift Kampamba were both sent off for arguing with the assistant referee.
ASSEMBLY 1 ROAN 0
In an early kick-off at Woodlands Stadium, National Assembly edged relegation-threatened Roan United in a tightly contested match.
Midfielder Emmanuel Sikazwe struck the all-important goal in the 90th minute to hand the â€˜Parliamentariansâ€™ maximum points.
Assembly have 30 points, 13 better than bottom-placed Roan.
