She-polopolo ready, says Bwale

ZAMBIA women’s national team coach Charles Bwale has declared his squad ready for the Africa Women Championship kicking off in Windhoek on Saturday.
Bwale said in Lusaka yesterday that the team is travelling to Namibia to challenge for honours.
“We have done our homework. What is remaining is just to compete and produce results. Otherwise we are more than ready. We are looking forward to the championship,” said the former Mufulira Wanderers, Nkana and Green Buffaloes defender.
The She-polopolo take on Namibia in the opening Group A match before taking on Ivory Coast and Nigeria.
Meanwhile, She-polopolo players are upbeat of performing to expectation in Namibia.
Goalkeeper Hazel Nali said they are targeting reaching the semi-finals.
Defender Meya Banda said the sky is the limit for the team.
Midfielder Suzan Banda said working hard is the secret to success.
Striker Hellen Mubanga is targeting to score two goals past Namibia.
The team is scheduled to leave for Namibia today.
