Policeman hacked

A 41-YEAR-OLD police officer providing security to the deputy chief justice has been hacked by robbers who also got away with his gun.
Moses Ganizani, of Garden House, was attacked and left seriously wounded on Tuesday around 21:00 hours as he was guarding the residence of Deputy Chief Justice Marvin Mwanamwambwa in Lusaka West.
Mr Ganizani is in the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) undergoing treatment for the non-life-threatening wounds.
Narrating the ordeal from his hospital bed yesterday, Mr Ganizani, who has deep cuts on the forehead, said he was on duty with a colleague when he was pounced on by unknown people who had sharp metal instruments.
