Police on mounted horses

A HORSE has an instinct of jumping and running away from danger.

MOSES WALUBITA, Lusaka
ONCE upon a time, horses were wild animals like lions or hyenas until man domesticated them. Now we see them being used for various purposes like during official opening of Parliament by the Head of State or patrolling the town centre or townships for possible law-breakers.
What we may not be aware of however, is that horses value family tree. This means they enjoy family company and protection. In such a family set-up, they cherish love, care and friendship “till death or retirement do us part”.
For one to be a successful horse rider, one needs to have a passion and love for animals. It is an additional responsibility because the general welfare of the horse lies squarely in the rider’s hands.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
