POLICE have arrested over 140 people in Southern Province for rioting after the declaration of President Lungu as winner of last Thursday’s Presidential election.
Police in Mongu, Western Province, have also arrested 16 people also for riotous misconduct.
Southern Province commissioner of police Godwin Phiri said in a statement yesterday that 53 were arrested in Choma, another 53 in Mazabuka, 26 in Monze, five in Sinazongwe, six in Maamba and three in Kazungula.READ MORE
