IN the first place, allow me to congratulate Southern Province-based New Monze Swallows on winning promotion to super division.

Secondly, the fact that the players were just paid a K100 once in 2017, but still remained focused and determined, is worth emulating.
While players in so-called big teams always protest if not paid, New Monze Swallows players set their eyes on playing in the elite league.
Now they have the chance to play against Zesco, Zanaco, Nkana, Power Dynamos and other ‘big boys’ in 2018.
I am calling upon all MPs in Southern Province to assist the team because premier division is not for ‘babies’.
