THE Patriotic Front (PF) says its victory in the Mangango parliamentary by-election is a clear indication that Zambians have taken note of and appreciate the countrywide development projects it is undertaking, through Government.
And PF secretary general Davies Mwila has given a 14-day ultimatum to the party leadership in Eastern Province to explain why its candidate Elina Tembo lost the Lusinde ward by-election in Petauke.
The PF now has 89 Members of Parliament while the United Party for National Development (UPND) has 54.
MMD has three, FDD has one and there are 14 independent MPs, most of them aligned to the PF.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
