Letter to the Editor

Persecuted widow cries for help

Dear editor,
I AM appealing to human rights groups, non-governmental organisations (NGOs)championing the rights of women and other well-wishers to help me.
I was transferred from my station for raising concern on the management of resources at my employer, an institution of learning.
My children are suffering. Imagine children living on their own and I, their mother, elsewhere?
How can a senior officer punish junior officers for trying to prevent misuse of government funds?
Right now I am supposed to be cultivating, but my mind is torn apart.
I would like to know how I can get help from those NGOs that were active during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
I would like them to know how women are tormented at workplaces.
It is even harder when you are a widow like me, and you can’t find money to send your children to school.
Please, help. Mwebantu ala ngafweni ba editor.
PERSECUTED WIDOW
