PARLIAMENT yesterday unanimously approved the K71.6 billion 2018 national budget and adjourned sine die.
The budget represents 25.9 percent of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
It was presented to Parliament by Minister of Finance Felix Mutati on September 29.
Winding up debate on the budget, Mr Mutati said the document is in conformity with the Seventh National Development Plan, with allocations targeted at addressing strategic areas of economic diversification and job creation.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
