Panic grips FAZ over submission of MRI scans to CAF

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) yesterday pressed a panic button over the submission of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test results and passport copies for under-17 national team players to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
CAF gave FAZ an August 3 deadline to submit the MRI results and passport copies to its headquarters in Cairo ahead of Sunday’s Africa Junior Championship second round first leg against Sudan.
By press time yesterday, the players were still undergoing MRI tests at Lusaka’s Fairview Hospital under the supervision of CAF-accredited doctor Joseph Kabungo.READ MORE
