Ozzy to be ‘Unstoppable’ next month

NKOLE NKOLE, Lusaka
DANCEHALL artiste General Ozzy is set to release his EP called Unstoppable next month, which he says will be a statement of his love for music.
Ozzy, who recently launched the video of his latest single called Pamodzi says he is still going strong after being part of the local music industry for over 10 years.
He said he aims to keep the EP short and direct while carrying good songs.
The EP was due for release this month, but due to commitments, its launch has been postponed to next month.
Sharing on his latest single Pamodzi, Ozzy says it is a song about a man who has stopped believing in love until he meets someone who sweeps him off his feet.
“He wants to take it easy but he’s so emotionally attached to this person that he’s fine with whatever she proposes,” Ozzy explains.
The artiste also shares that his inspiration to write songs usually comes through the experiences he sees through his friends and loved ones.
For Ozzy, a good song is one that others can easily relate to.
Initially, Ozzy had done the Pamodzi track by himself until his colleague Little G, suggested he collaborates with a female artiste on it.
According to Ozzy, Wezi of the Toliwe fame added the right energy to the song, giving it what it was missing and proving there could have been no better choice.
He says he is looking forward to his EP release and to hearing reactions from his fans.
Ozzy has since shot three videos of songs off the soon to be released EP.
