VETERAN defender Joseph Musonda arguably became the oldest player to score in the Confederation Cup yesterday as Nkana pummeled Ivorian side San Pedro and put one foot in the group stage of the continent’s second tier competition.
Musonda, 42, a 2012 Africa Cup winner, doubled Nkana’s advantage in the 50th minute after fans favourite Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba gave the home side the lead in front of a capacity crowd.
