Nyaende, Nawa join Forest Rangers

FOREST Rangers have signed Nkana striker Felix Nyaende and three others players ahead of the 2016 season.
Nchanga Rangers duo of goalkeeper Jairos Mulenga and striker Nawa Nawa alongside defender Masautso Zimba from Nkana have joined the Ndola outfit.
Club chairperson Ben Mukuka confirmed the signing of the quartet in an interview in Ndola yesterday.
“We have signed two strikers, a goalkeeper and a defender. Strikers Nawa and Felix together with goalkeeper Mulenga have joined us on permanent deals. We have gotten Zimba on loan from Nkana. We are still in talks with other clubs regarding signing their players but I can’t mention the names of the players until we conclude negotiations.
“Nawa was on loan at Zanaco last season and after the expiry of his loan, we engaged his parent club and we have signed him permanently,” Mukuka said.
He said Forest are leaving nothing to chance for this season.
Forest finished ninth last season with 37 points.
The signing of the quartet brings the number of new players at Forest to seven.
Midfielder Innocent Mwaba has trekked to Dola Hill from Zesco United alongside Power Dynamos duo of striker Kobe Chipeta and midfielder Chrispin Mulenga.
Forest already have lost midfielder Freddy Tshimenga and defender Diego Apanane to Nkana, defender Gift Sakuwaha and midfielder Logic Ching’andu have moved to Zanaco with midfielder Laurent Muma joining Power.
