Numba regrets dropping points

MUMAMBA Numba.

ALEX NJOVU, Lusaka
COACH Mumamba Numba is disappointed that Zanaco have failed to collect maximum points in the last two fixtures.

The bankers played to a 1-all draw with Green Eagles on Monday at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka and 48 hours later fired blanks in a goalless draw with Lumwana Radiants at the same venue.
“It is frustrating that we were not able to pick up points against teams we are supposed to beat,” Numba said.
He urged his players to up their game.
“I am disappointed with the performance of my players today [Wednesday]. They did not play well. These are games we are supposed to win,” Numba said.
Zanaco are sixth on the log with 32 points at par with Nkana and Radiants although the Lusaka outfit has a better goal aggregate.
Numba, however, said the bankers are on course to defend the league title.
“We have some new players who are yet to integrate into the squad. I am confident we will beat Mufulira Wanderers in our next game,” he said.
