GOVERNMENT plans to convert dormant infrastructure into recreation facilities to improve interaction and encourage progressive lifestyles, District Commissioner Protacial Mulenga has said.
Mr Mulenga said encouraging interaction among citizens will help to reduce depression because people will be able to clear their minds through healthy interactions.
Mr Mulenga said in an interview that the department of Tourism and Arts has been engaged to find ways of restoring traditional games like nsolo for elderly men.
“Our old men are dying before their time these days because there is no interaction like it was the case in the past. We need to create a place where they can be meeting to play games,” he said. CLICK
