NSCZ postpones Badminton Zambia elections

THE National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) has postponed the Badminton Zambia elective annual general meeting that was scheduled for today in Kitwe.
Badminton Zambia general secretary Kingsley Mulenga confirmed the postponement in an interview in Ndola yesterday.
“Unfortunately the meeting has been postponed by the National Sports Council of Zambia to another date. They [NSCZ] are citing short notice from their side,” Mulenga said.
Badminton Zambia president Kay Chirwa is being challenged by Simon Mwila, Mulenga is unopposed while Hu Ba Qing, Ogar Siamupangila, Kenny Sivile, Brian Daka, Donald Mabo, Levy Ziwa, Charles Kalonde and Bernard Kamalata are vying for the four committee member positions.
