North expo bearing fruit – Mundubile

VIOLET MENGO, Lusaka
ITS vast natural resources and rare endowment with waterfalls gives Northern Province an edge over Zambia’s regions with untapped economic potential.
The province, which borders Luapula in the west and Muchinga Province in the east, has unique features that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. These include natural resources, appropriate soil, topography and agro-climate, and adequate rainfall even during the years that Zambia faces severe drought.
The province has 16 percent of the Southern African Development Community’s (SADC) water resources which allow for all-year-round agricultural activities.
It covers approximately one sixth of Zambia in land area.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
