ALL the foreign-based players yesterday joined the Chipolopolo camp ahead of tomorrow’s 2023 Ivory Coast Africa Cup of Nations fixture against Lesotho, with defender Frankie Musonda saying they have no reason to fail to perform to expectation.
Defender Thandi Mwape of Democratic Republic of Congo side TP Mazembe and the Europe-based quartet of Lubambo Musonda, Edward Chilufya, Emmanuel Banda and Klings Kangwa completed coach Avram Grant’s squad.
Musonda, who is based in Scotland, joined camp on Monday evening ahead of the clash set for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
He arrived alongside English Premier League side Leicester City striker Patson Daka, forward Fashion Sakala of Scottish outfit Glasgow Rangers, Italy top side Lecce striker Lameck Banda and midfielder Benson Sakala of Czech side Pribram.
