NATIONAL team coach Wedson Nyirenda says no player is indispensable, including midfielder Rainford Kalaba and that the technical bench is assembling a squad that will soon be ripe to conquer Africa.

“The danger of African football is where you think you cannot do it without one player. Kalaba played in the first leg against Nigeria but we still lost [2-1]. He played in the Africa Cup qualifier against Mozambique and we lost [1-0]. We played against Algeria home and away without him and we won,” said Nyirenda in response to a Nigeria reporter, who wanted to know why he has ignored experienced players like Kalaba.
He also said the Super Eagles used experience to overcome Zambia.
