SHIKANDA KAWANGA, Lusaka
GOVERNMENT has launched a US$500 million road safety management system which will raise the country’s safety profile and create about 6,000 jobs.
This is a public-private-partnership (PPP) project between the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) and Kapsch Group through its subsidiary, Intelligent Mobility System, aimed at reducing accidents.
Minis ter of Transport and Communications Brian Mushimba said when he launched the project yesterday that the initiative will enhance safety on Zambian roads.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
