New chapter: Lungu, Wina sworn in

PRESIDENT Lungu yesterday stood before multitudes to take oath of office for five years as he started a new era during which he seeks to give Zambians a brighter future.
There was no better place for Mr Lungu and Vice-President Inonge Wina to be sworn in than National Heroes Stadium, an infrastructural marvel sitting at the convergence of two constituencies – Matero and Mandevu – which gave the two about 120,000 votes in the August 11 general elections.
Up stepped Mr Lungu and Mrs Wina – at different intervals – to take oath under the new constitution which has seen them take up the mantle 28 days after being declared winners following an election petition.READ MORE
