Nawakwi stepson challenges court decision

FORUM for Democracy and Development president Edith Nawakwi’s stepson Mulundu Hambulo has gone back to court to challenge a magistrate’s decision to dismiss a legal suit he had filed against his stepmother. Mulundu, through the people, has argued that Lusaka senior resident magistrate Felix Kaoma’s decision to dismiss the criminal complaint he had filed against Ms Nawakwi was unlawful. “The trial court misdirected itself in law when it dismissed the complaint on the ground that it ought to be an administrator of the estate to sustain the proceedings,” the notice of appeal reads in part.
