National Dialogue Forum makes progress

ALVIN CHIINGA, Lusaka
AFTER protracted debates on the holding of the National Dialogue Forum (NDF), those who had the nation’s interest at heart carried the day.
The forum had to go ahead and successfully so!
The NDF sittings started on April 23, 2019 and this day will go down memory lane as one of the days that Zambians were again given a chance to determine their destiny through amending some of the outstanding national issues.
To start with, a standing committee comprising two vice-chairpersons to assist NDF chairperson Muyunda Mwanalushi was voted in.
Southern African Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) executive director Boniface Cheembe and Non-Governmental Gender Organisations Coordinating Council (NGOCC) board chairperson Mary Mulenga were elected to serve as vice-chairpersons of the NDF.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
